FSU football had a bye week at the perfect time, coming off a big road win over Clemson for the first time since 2014. FSU has yet to play a complete game for a variety of reasons.

FSU has been without starters on both sides of the ball for multiple games. The playcalling in some games has been questionable, with FSU not targeting the slot receivers or the middle of the field much.

FSU has steadily gone to it’s large pair of wide receivers, Keon Coleman and Johnny Wilson. The two players account for 42 percent of the receptions and 50 percent of the receiving yards.

FSU has usually run the ball around 60 percent of the time under Mike Norvell, but FSU has thrown the ball 50 percent of the time through the first four games.

Some of that could be injuries on the offensive line, and the inability to run the ball effectively, which could go back to injuries on the offensive line.

Some of that is Jordan Travis not running the ball on read option plays. The good news? Mike Norvell has always found ways to run the ball effectively.

If they can start doing that, FSU will be a difficult team for anyone to beat. Here are four huge questions coming out of the bye week.
