FSU football: Five prospects in the 2024 recruiting cycle to monitor

Defensive backs coach Patrick Surtain Sr. has done a tremendous job obtaining highly-touted prospects at his position group with adding the likes of five-star cornerback Charles Lester III, five-star safety KJ Bolden, and four-star cornerback Ricky Knight III (three-star safety CJ Heard committed when former defensive backs coach Marcus Woodson was at FSU).

Will the rich continue to get richer? The Seminoles are in heavy communication with four-star cornerback Jamari Howard, who is now at Norland High School in Miami, Florida. The talented defensive back recently received a crystal ball prediction to the Seminoles, but he does not look to be in a hurry to make a decision (could be the month of December).

If the pickup of Howard were to happen for the Seminoles, it would be very difficult for opposing offenses to pass against this stout defensive backfield.
