CLEMSON DID A GREAT JOB AGAINST FSU’S RUNNING GAME

In previous years, this coaching staff has emphasized the importance of establishing the run early and often. However, the Seminoles’ offense has not gotten itself going. They only recorded 22 rushing yards in Saturday’s victory, which is a bit worrisome for the future.

Clemson’s interior defensive line is one of the best in the country, which is led by senior defensive tackle Tyler Davis. This will likely be one of, if not, the best defensive line units that FSU plays for the rest of the year.

However, Norvell understands the importance of getting Trey Benson back into the game plan. This move will take pressure off of quarterback Jordan Travis, as well as the dynamic weapons that he possesses. It is likely only a matter of time before the former Oregon transfer breaks loose for a huge performance that gets him back on track. If not, there are other guys waiting in the wings.
