Better More Experienced QB

This factor is the biggest one of all. Jordan Travis has already faced Clemson twice and played in Death Valley at night in 2021.

They won’t be able to throw anything at him he hasn’t already seen. This will be the best offensive line he’s played behind and the best offensive weapons he’s had in his long tenure at FSU.

I mentioned Klubnik doesn’t perform well under pressure, and Jordan Travis is poised and has the experience to elude pressure and make plays with his legs or downfield with his arm. He can stay in the pocket and beat you or beat you with his legs.

Travis is usually a good decision-maker and doesn’t normally put the ball in harm’s way.

There’s a reason he’s on the short list of Heisman candidates. FSU has played six halves of football, and Jordan Travis probably has only played close to his potential in maybe two of them, and his numbers are still excellent.

All he needs to do is make better decisions situationally, and this offense will go to the stratosphere. I’m sure that’s been discussed ad nauseam this week. I expect him to play well because that’s what he’s done over the past few “big” games when FSU needed him.
