Better Offensive Weapons

FSU football may not have put it together for a full game yet, but that’s the scary part. The FSU offense has rattled off impressive runs in games, despite not having much success on early downs. I think the added dimension of Jordan Travis potentially using his legs in the run game will open the Clemson defense up.

If Clemson must commit another defender in the box to stop the run? Good luck stopping the trio of Keon Coleman, Johnny Wilson, and Jaheim Bell. FSU has yet to integrate its slot receivers into the action through three games.

Desytn Hill and Winston Wright have been wide open several times. I expect Jordan Travis will play smarter football and take what’s available in the game, which will ultimately open up the explosive plays we’ve become accustomed to in Mike Norvell’s offense.

Mike Norvell usually has his teams well-prepared in these big matchups, and I wouldn’t expect this game to be different. FSU had the turnver and two turnover on downs last season, and still scored 28 points last year.

I find it hard to believe Clemson will hold them under 30 points again, as they have scored 30+ points in nine straight games.
