FSU football released their projected depth chart in anticipation of their matchup against the Clemson Tigers on Saturday, September 23rd at noon EST in Death Valley.

Fans were understandably upset after the Seminoles almost squandered away a 31-10 lead late in the third quarter last week in their road contest against Boston College. They hung on to win the game by a score of 31-29.

An increased focus is needed if the Seminoles want to accomplish their aspirations for this season.

Nonetheless, FSU survived and advanced, and they are now pointing their attention to the Clemson Tigers, who they have not beaten since 2014. To make matters worse, Clemson has won the ACC seven out of the last eight years. They have been considered the “standard” of the league.

With the Seminoles’ heightened expectations of potentially winning a conference championship and maybe even a College Football Playoff appearance, this is likely the best opportunity to dethrone the Tigers.

Some individuals believe that the unranked Clemson Tigers seemed to have taken a step back. However, it is difficult to underestimate head football coach Dabo Swinney and company because they have been so successful for quite some time. Plus, the Tigers are difficult to beat on their home turf.

TAKEAWAYS FROM DEPTH CHART

•Running back Rodney Hill still has an -or- designation with Caziah Holmes.

•The offensive line has -or-designations for Robert Scott and Bless Harris at left tackle, Maurice Smith and Darius Washington at center, D’Mitri Emmanuel and Darius Washington at right guard, and Jeremiah Byers and Bless Harris at right tackle.

•Left tackle Robert Scott Jr., center Maurice Smith, and safety Akeem Dent were listed on the depth chart after being unavailable for last Saturday’s matchup against Boston College.

•The depth has virtually remained the same from last week, but we’ll see if some guys play.
