Omar Graham Jr.

Omar Graham Jr. is a player the coaching staff have invested a great deal of time developing over the past year.

A redshirt freshmen, Graham will have a significant role in the defense once Tatum Bethune and Kalen DeLoach exit the program after the 2023 season.

Graham looked good in the spring, exceling in coverage, which has been a weakness for the linebacker unit over the past few years.

He got into the LSU game and had one tackle in the box score. This Southern Miss game would be a good time to see what he can do, while spelling one of the starters, who they’ll need to remain healthy unlike last season.

Southern Miss runs a balanced offense with a solid running back in Frank Gore Jr., but they will run some RPO stuff that will test the linebackers.

If Omar Graham Jr. plays in this game and doesn’t look overwhelmed, that would be a great sign for the Noles and the linebacker unit.
