Parting Thoughts

I’ve talked about how the coaching staff has completed the majority of the 2024 class. That aspect allows the staff to focus energy on the few remaining targets with the help of the current commits like KJ Bolden, Charles Lester III, Luke Kromenhoek, Kameron Davis, and others.

It also helps to lay the foundation to continue building relationships with the 2025 recruiting class and beyond. Elite recruiting programs wrap up their recruiting classes early and begin on the next cycle well before the Early Signing Period of their current cycle.

That’s something Mike Norvell has finally fixed after the mess he inherited and all the holes on the roster. They will continue to supplement through the transfer portal when needed, but they have clearly switched focus to a more high school eccentric focus.

All the negative recruiting school could do in the past is a thing of the past. Programs like Miami are trying to make up narratives so they can negatively recruit, but I saw some freshmen playing in a top five matchup Sunday night.

I think FSU will close strong on the trail with the season I expect them to have.
