October 21st vs. Duke

Duke beat up on a lot of bad teams last season and had unbelievable turnover luck that isn’t sustainable. They return starting quarterback Riley Leonard and a lot of production from last season. However, they play a tough season opener against Clemson, and play Notre Dame and NC State before traveling to Doak Campbell Stadium. I think they’ll be this year’s version of Syracuse, meaning their lack of depth will get exposed by the time they get to FSU on the schedule. That will three physical games early in the season. Plus, FSU has never lost to Duke in football(it’s crazy Miami can’t say that). FSU rolls in the second half.

Scoring Prediction: FSU 37, Duke 23

Win Share: .80

Projected 2023 Record: 7-0
