October 14th vs. Syracuse

I remember everyone being wary of Syracuse last year after their fast start to the season. However, I was quick to point out they were not very good and would be worn down by the time they played FSU. Welp, they beat up a lot of bad teams early, and injuries began to expose their lack of depth on both sides of the ball.

FSU destroyed the Orange on the road and will likely do the same this year. Syracuse returns their starting QB but lost star running back Sean Tucker and three offensive linemen. Syracuse will have a new offensive and defensive coordinator.

The latter will have to replace some holes in the secondary as several guys left the program. Syracuse doesn’t have the talent FSU has and has lost to the the last three games. There will be a fourth consecutive loss.

Scoring Prediction: FSU 38, Syracuse 24

Win Share: .85

Projected 2023 Record: 6-0
