Brock Glenn Progression
I wrote about Brock Glenn’s progression in my major takeaways piece Monday. FSU head coach Mike Norvell mentioned he’s already ahead of where they thought he would be, and seems to have surpassed AJ Duffy on the depth chart.
That’s my interpretation, not what Coach Norvell said, but the buzz around Glenn from coaches and media that have been present at practices is there.
Tate Rodemaker is the backup right now, but can Glenn’s progression over the next couple of weeks excel and close that gap?
The biggest edge Rodemaker has is experience in the playbook, and Glenn likely can’t gain an edge there. However, confidence is something that can propel players to the next level.
It seems like Glenn has gained a confidence AJ Duffy never found, and I’m interested to see what Brock Glenn does this week.
What if he goes out and exceeds expectations in the second scrimmage? Things could get interesting between now and 2024 spring camp!
