FSU football: Top 5 concerns going into 2023 season

The 2022 FSU football season was one of what could have been. FSU exceeded expectations with 10 wins, but the three losses were winnable games if the Noles had been a full strength.

The loss of Fabien Lovett for much of the year and Jared Verse playing at less than 100 percent impacted the Noles. The offense had moments of lackluster play agaisnt Wake Forest, NC State, and Clemson.

However, the final six games saw a team on a mission, and most of that team returned for the 2023 season.

Some talented additions from the transfer portal added more to those expectations that have changed drastically since a year ago. The team’s attitude is all business heading into 2023.

They have completed one week of fall camp, and Mike Norvell seems pleased with the team’s progress.

There is top-notch competition at nearly every position. There is growing confidence as narratives at different positions continues to develop.

The LSU opener will tell us several things about this team. Here are the top five biggest concerns going into 2023.
