FSU football: 5 most impactful 2023 transfers this season

Braden Fiske-DL
Western Michigan defensive tackle transfer Braden Fiske finds himself at the No. 2 spot after missing spring camp rehabbing a shoulder injury.
I wasn’t quite sure what his impact would be, considering he wasn’t available in the spring. However, I knew he brought a ton of starting experience from Western Michigan.
By all accounts, Fiske is better than folks thought he’d be, and he’ll be a major cog in the middle of the defense for the Noles.
His addition could be even more important if Darrell Jackson Jr. (he would be on this list if he had gotten the waiver approved by now) doesn’t receiver his waiver from the NCAA.
FSU is awaiting that decision, but in the meantime, Fiske is wreaking havoc at practice over the first few days.
He also has the versatility to play some FOX(defensive end) if the Noles need more depth at that position.
