Jeremiah Byers-OL

UTEP’s Jeremiah Byers checks in at the No. 5 spot. FSU will go into the season with one of the deepest offensive lines they’ve had in nearly a decade.

However, both starting tackles from last year are coming off injuries. Bless Harris missed the final 12 games after starting game one last year.

Robert Scott missed spring camp rehabbing injuries suffered last year. Aside from Maurice Smith, Byers might be the most valuable player on the line.

He can play tackle or on the interior and will likely start somewhere on the offensive line this season. Byers brings a ton of experience with over 30 college starts.

The versatility to the unit is invaluable and will allow Alex Atkins to play several combinations without suffering much of a drop-off.

I expect Byers to make an immediate impact this year.
