4-Star. . CB. Miami Central HS, Miami, FL. JAMARI HOWARD

Jamari Howard is a four-star cornerback formerly committed to Michigan State. However, he de-committed a couple months back, but took official visits there and to Rutgers in June.

However, after this de-commitment, most relegated his recruitment to a Big Three battle in the Sunshine State.

FSU may have gotten the upperhand recently with Howard deciding to visit FSU when the dead period opened instead of the Florida Gators. Howard ranks as the No. 109 player and No. 12 cornerback nationally. He lists at 6’2″ and 175 pounds.

A cornerback tandem of Charles Lester III and Howard would arguably be the best nationally. Not to mention five-star KJ Bolden and four-star Ricky Knight III.

Howard will likely take an official to FSU during the season or closer to the Early Signing Period. FSU looks to be in good shape for him right now. I’d classify him as a need, but it’s not life or death if you don’t get him.
