FSU football: Reaction to KJ Bolden’s commitment is crazy
By Kelvin Hunt
FSU football received a commitment from five-star athlete KJ Bolden Saturday night. He chose the Noles over Georgia, Auburn, Ohio State, and Clemson.
It’s the highest-ranked commit in the Mike Norvell era and moves FSU football to the No. 4 overall 2024 recruiting class nationally.
A lot of FSU fans were doubtful the Noles could pull off the move leading up to his commitment Saturday night, despite lots of smoke FSU was in the mix.
However, when he announced the commitment to FSU on a live stream, it set the internet ablaze:
The way his mother jumped up when he announced the Noles was probably how every FSU football fan reacted as they watched with anticipation. Check out all of the reactions from fans and rival fans below:

This addition is a massive statement by the FSU football staff, NIL guys, and everything associated with FSU. It’s the first top 10 player nationally committed since the 2017 recruiting cycle, which was Jimbo Fisher’s last full cycle before departing for browner pastures.
It’s the second five-star commitment within a week and the third in the 2024 class. FSU has gone up against the defending National Champions twice, and beat them for two five-star players within a few months span.
This is the type of thing FSU football fans have been talking about during the past few downs years. The Noles are one of a handful of teams nationally that can go from poor to top-tier the quickest when operating on all cylinders.
That seems to be the case, and the Noles still have a few key spots left in the class. The addition of these top players will only make it more difficult for the other remaining targets to say no when they all begin recruiting them to Tallahassee.
Who wouldn’t want to come to place on the rise with some of the best traditions in college football? FSU has 22 commitments, with about five players left they’d like to add in this class.
Not only that, this Bolden commit could affect the 2025 recruiting class sooner than later.
