FSU football: Impact of 5-star Charles Lester III commitment
By Kelvin Hunt
Parting Thoughts
It’s so funny to look at how badly some fans whined and complained in June when Florida went on their little recruiting run. I preached patience, and now FSU has a 72 percent blue-chip ratio with 18 commits, while possibly adding another blue-chip commitment Saturday(tomorrow).
If that comes to fruition, the Noles will have a ton of recruiting momentum as they begin fall camp next week.
They could get more good news if they pull the upset over Georgia and gain a commitment from five-star safety KJ Bolden on August 5th. At this point, FSU is truly big-game hunting for select recruiting targets at a few positions.
Those positions would be wide receiver, defensive back, defensive tackle, and defensive end.
The staff got four-star Miami commit Artavius Jones on campus Thursday, so there’s some traction there. I highly doubt Joshisa Trader’s recruitment is over after committing to Miami out of the blue earlier this month.
If FSU can hit on the majority of their big time remaining targets? A top 10 class is a lock, with a shot at a top five class or better.
