Quarterback

Technically, Jordan Travis is a transfer brought to the roster by Willie Taggart before the 2019 season. However, he’s developed like a high school player by Mike Norvell and the staff.

The 2023 season will be his last in Tallahassee, and Mike Norvell has done a great job fixing the issues in the quarterback room. The Noles will be in good shape in 2024.

The starter will be redshirt senior Tate Rodemaker, redshirt sophomore AJ Duffy, or redshirt freshman Brock Glenn.

Oh, and FSU is in position to sign arguably its best high school quarterback since Jameis Winston in the 2024 recruiting cycle, four-star Luke Kromenhoek.

FSU already had a 2025 QB commit in four-star Tramell Jones Jr., and seems to have no problem landing blue-chip players at the position from the high school ranks.

Teams landing quality players at the QB position is often the difference between average, good, and elite. FSU seems to be on the right trajectory.
