FSU is undefeated against these Big XII teams
The Big XII looks to position itself to be competitive in the changing landscape of college football. They’ll likely be third, behind the B1G and the SEC. FSU football has had its fair share of success in limited matchups against this conference.
Colorado: The Buffaloes moved on to the Pac-12 in 2011, but they were in the Big XII when they played the Noles three times. These contests haven’t been competitive, with FSU winning 47-7, 16-6, and 39-21.
It’s funny, there’s some new hostility between the two programs now that FSU great Deion Sanders got hired as their new head coach last year. Buffalo fans say they want FSU on the schedule, but I think history has proven they don’t want those problems, and definitely not after winning only one game last year.
Kansas St: The Wildcats are 0-3 against the Noles, with the last contest taking place in 1977. The largest margin of victory came in their first matchup in 1970. FSU won that contest 33-7. The Noles went on to defeat the Wildcats 20-10 in 1976 and 18-10 in 1977.
West Virginia: The Mountaineers were in the Big East when they played the Noles before moving to the Big XII in 2012. They are 0-3 against the Noles, with the last context taking place in 2009, Ironically, it was Bobby Bowden’s final game in the Gator Bowl, with the Noles coming from behind to win 33-21.
Texas A&M: The Aggies are 0-4 against the Noles and were part of the Big XII when they played the Noles two games in the 90s. The other two games took place in 1967 and 1968. FSU won those games 19-18 and 20-14. Bobby Bowden defeated the Aggies 10-2 in 1992 and 23-14 in 1998. The final game was the season opener, with the No. 2 FSU Seminoles against the No. 14 Aggies on a neutral field in New Jersey.
