FSU football is undefeated against these Pac-12 teams

These games are a prime example of Bobby Bowden willing to play anyone, opening the 1997 season on the road against No. 23 USC.

University of Southern California: The USC Trojans are 0-2 against the Noles, with the most recent meeting happening in the 1998 season. This was the second game of a home and home series against the Trojans in 1997 and 1998.

FSU defeated No. 23 USC 14-7 on the road in 1997 before returning to Doak Campbell Stadium in front of 80,000 fans to defeat No. 18 USC 30-10 in 1998.

University of California Los Angeles: The UCLA Bruins and the Noles have only met once in their history. The two teams faced off in the 2006 Emerald Bowl. A six win FSU team beat the brakes off UCLA 44-27, aided by a 21-point fourth quarter after being down 20-13 at halftime.
