Darrell Jackson Jr. (Pending Waiver)

Miami transfer Darrell Jackson Jr. was another big addition from the transfer portal. If you wonder how big? Miami tried desperately to stop his enrollment at FSU.

I would have put him higher on this list if I knew his transfer waiver was approved by the NCAA. Nevertheless, we’re still waiting to hear that decision, but I have to believe it’ll it done.

Jackson is a force on the interior, capable of wreaking havoc up the middle and collapsing the pocket. He’s huge, listed at 6’5″ and 325 pounds, but moves like someone half the size.

One weakness may be that he doesn’t play 100 percent focused all of the time, but when he’s on, he’s one of the most dominant players on the team.

If the waiver is approved, I expect Jackson to play many significant snaps and be one of the major reasons why FSU has one of the best run defenses in the nation.
