FSU football: 3-star OT target received expert prediction to FSU
FSU football has not secured an offensive lineman commitment in their 2024 recruiting class.
However, things could change in the near future for the Seminoles. Fans understand the recruiting prowess of offensive coordinator/offensive line coach Alex Atkins.
Atkins has made its presence known on the recruiting trail by being able to connect with prospects in a meaningful way. The assistant coach has signed eight at his position group in the past two recruiting cycles.
Two offensive lineman targets have been identified in this recruiting cycle, with five-star offensive tackle Jonathan Daniels from Pine Forest High School in Pensacola (FL) and three-star offensive tackle Tye Hylton from Oviedo High School in Oviedo (FL).
As I discussed in a previous article, Daniels expects to make a decision on July 15th between Florida State, Georgia, and Kentucky. The Pensacola native has five crystal ball predictions in favor of the Seminoles. The talented offensive tackle prospect officially visited FSU during the weekend of June 23rd.
Hylton had a variety of official visits that he took this summer to Penn State (June 2-4), Miami (June 9-11), Florida (June 16-18), and Florida State (June 23-25). During his exit meeting with various media members at the conclusion of his official visit, he stated that a decision could be coming in late July or early August.
On Monday afternoon, he received an expert prediction favoring FSU football from Florida On3 Recruiting Analyst Corey Bender with a confidence level of 65 out of 100.
This news is could be exactly what FSU football hopes to generate as they look to obtain more recruiting momentum for their 2024 recruiting class.
With the two potential additions of Hylton and Daniels, the Seminoles could be done with their offensive lineman haul this cycle unless they put a full court press on four-star Jason Zandamela, who committed to USC last month. If not, they could focus on acquiring veteran prospects via the transfer portal.
