LB. South Oak Cliff HS, Dallas, TX. DYLAN BROWN-TURNER. 3-Star. Dylan Brown-Turner has no overal player ranking and is the No. 133 linebacker nationally. He ranks as the No. 253 player in the Longhorn State and checks in at 6’1″ and 200 pounds. Brown-Turner is a low-ranking player the Noles added around National Signing Day, and some folks debated if he was worthy of a scholarship with the transfer portal available. There’s some merit to that, but FSU doesn’t need freshmen linebackers to come in and play right away. Just look at what I wrote for the blue-chip linebacker signee, Blake Nichelson. Brown-Turner will likely redshirt this year as he learns the defense while developing more physically. FSU also signed another freshman linebacker, DeMarco Ward, who enrolled early and seemed to come along nicely in spring camp.
