Keith Sampson ranks as the No. 241 player and No. 30 defensive tackle nationally. He ranks as the No. 8 player in the Tarheel State, and checks in at 6’3″ and 295 pounds. Keith Sampson is the lone defensive tackle in the class, with FSU taking several in the 2022 recruiting class. I’ve mentioned it takes players in the trenches more time to physically develop to make an impact early. The good news for Sampson is there will be no pressure to play early, with players like Daniel Lyons and Ayobami Tifase likely getting snaps here and there and especially when the games get into garbage time. Sampson should spend this year getting bigger and stronger, learning techniques from Odell Haggins, and looking to jump into the rotation next year as a redshirt freshman.. DT.
