Most freshmen non-early enrollees won’t play early, but that won’t be the expectation for Hussey. His high school doesn’t allow players to graduate early, but the coaching received at St. Thomas Aquinas is top-notch. One freshman that always comes to mind is former FSU great Rashad Greene. Greene came from the same high school and had an outstanding freshman campaign, although he wasn’t an early enrollee, which is rare for freshmen receivers. The other thing helping Hussey’s case is the lack of depth at the safety position. He’ll compete with other freshmen like KJ Kirkland(who early enrolled and stood out in spring camp). Hussey could also see time on special teams. He might get off to a slower start, but I like him to get lots of snaps in the latter half of the season.. DB. St. Thomas Aquinas, Ft. Lauderdale, FL.
