Four-star LB Edwin Spillman

FSU fans always bring up the linebacker position in recruiting because the depth has been somewhat underwhelming over the last couple of years. Especially given that redshirt seniors Tatum Bethune and Kalen DeLoach depart after the 2023 season.

The Seminoles have one linebacker prospect committed to their 2024 recruiting class three-star Jayden Parrish from Delray Beach, Florida. However, FSU needs to find a way to secure another one in this cycle.

It will be the first official visit for four-star Edwin Spillman from Nashville, Tennessee. He has official visits scheduled to Florida State (June 2-4), Ohio State (June 9-11), Tennessee (June 16-18), and Georgia (June 23-25).

Luckily for linebackers coach Randy Shannon and company, the talented prospect visited campus on January 20, 2023. However, the odds are stacked against the Seminoles as he has three crystal ball predictions for the home-state Tennessee Volunteers.

Spillman will be a tough pull for the coaching staff, but it is good to see him utilizing an official visit on the good guys.
