FSU football had a tremendous spring going into Mike Norvell’s fourth season in Tallahassee. There’s a ton of momentum after winning 10 games for the first time since 2016.

Almost all the questions folks had about this football coaching staff have answers due to the patience of Mike Norvell. We know Adam Fuller’s defense has improved as they have gotten a better nucleus of defensive players.

We know the staff can recruit at a higher level now that opposing teams can’t use things in the past to negatively recruit against them. Hardcore fans understood the method, but maybe casual fans have started understanding Mike Norvell’s philosophy regarding the transfer portal.

Multiple too-early preseason polls have been high on the Noles, and rightfully so. They return more production on both sides of the ball than anyone in the nation.

They have one of the best quarterbacks returning, an improved offensive line, a better-receiving unit, and a defensive front that will wreak havoc for four quarters.

It’s a great time to be an FSU football fan. Let’s talk about the top five things we learned from 2023 spring.
