Boston College

Record (3-9)

FEI offense ranking- No. 74

FEI defense ranking- No. 116

FEI overall ranking- No. 102

I never bought into the Jeff Hafley hype, and the Boston College program has seemed to regress under his leadership. Not only did they have a ton of injuries on their offensive line, but they also will be without starting QB Phil Jurkovec, who transferred to Pittsburgh to try and avoid getting mauled for another year.

The offense was dreadful, and the defense wasn’t much better. Boston College isn’t a program that can get much top-tier talent, so they must rely on solid recruiting evaluations and player development. I don’t see Hafley fixing the issues through recruiting, and they have so many question marks on both sides of the ball it’s not even funny.
