LJ McCray ranks as the No. 136 player and No. 16 defensive end nationally. He ranks as the No. 22 player in the Sunshine State, checking in at 6’6″ and 260 pounds. McCray will likely morph into a defensive tackle in college. He plays tight-end and plays on the basketball team. The Noles offered McCray in May 2022 and have gotten him on campus numerous times since. He camped at FSU in July 2022 and attended the Georgia Tech game on October. He was back on campus in January 2023 for junior day and back on campus in March 2023. Florida has emerged in his recruitment and has an official visit set for June 2. McCray hasn’t set an official for FSU yet, but I expect that to take place at some point this summer.. DE. Mainland High School, Daytona Beach, FL. LJ MCCRAY. 4-Star
