Final Thoughts

There are several trends to take note of with the majority of these blue-chip players. Almost all received early offers and have been on campus multiple times. I’ve been on record several times, harping on FSU’s need to return to their recruiting roots in Florida and Georgia.

All these players, except for one, reside in one of those states. The only player outside those two is an offensive tackle, and I mentioned how it’s a down year for quality offensive linemen in the Southeast. Only two of these guys rank outside the top 300 players nationally.

While I don’t expect FSU to sign every single one of these guys, I think they have a better-than-average shot to sign at least half of them. There are a few blue-chip players not listed here that could eventually make this list as the recruiting cycle continues.

If that’s the case, that’s 15 blue-chip players when adding the seven they already have committed. If they signed that many from this list, it would give FSU football a 60 percent blue-chip ratio if they took 25 high school players.

FSU hasn’t recruited at this level since the 2017 recruiting cycle. Even then, that class was still more top-heavy, with eight players outside the top 350. Hold on FSU football fans, it might get crazy this summer with several guys on this list expected to announce their decisions.
