FSU football: Ranking all the top coaches in the ACC

Dabo Swinney became head coach at Clemson in 2008 and has compiled an overall record of 161-39. His record in the ACC is 89-18, leading his program past an FSU program that was among the nation’s elite from 2012-2014.
Clemson has won 10 ACC Atlantic Division Titles, eight ACC Championships, and two National Championships. They played in an additional two other National Title games in a losing effort.
He’s one of two coaches in the ACC with a National Title(Mack Brown). Swinney evolved into one of the best recruiters in the nation, routinely signing top 10 recruiting classes and elite quarterbacks and skill players.
Clemson has won 10 or more games every season since the 2011 season. Clemson looked like they were falling from among the elites in the 2022 season.
However, Dabo Swinney hired one of the best offensive coordinators in the nation from TCU. We’ll see if that’s enough to keep Clemson atop the ACC in 2023.
