As the 2023 NFL Draft quickly approaches this week, where will FSU football safety Jammie Robinson land? Jammie is an excellent safety with so much skill it’s hard to imagine he will last past the third round. It all depends on how many teams need help in the middle of their secondary.

Pro Day Summary:

Jammie graded out very well on his pro day as he did positional drills and the 3-cone drill. He stood out among all the FSU players who attended. Robinson has great athleticism and can quickly change direction. Though he may not have track speed he plays at a whole other speed in the games.

NFL Team Needs at Safety

There are 3 teams that stand out to me that would be a perfect fit for Robinson.

San Francisco 49ers

The 49ers lost Jimmie Ward to the Texans after DeMeco Ryans left to be their head coach. That is a huge loss for that secondary, and Jammie Robinson fits that mold perfectly, as he and Ward play a similar game to me. He would slide right into that starting lineup and be a force for that defense on the back end.

Arizona Cardinals

Rumor has it that the Cards will trade Budda Baker before or at the draft this week, and this is another good scenario for Jammie in Arizona. I believe Robinson can play free safety or strong safety in the NFL, so that kind of versatility makes him valuable to teams. He can roam that Cardinals secondary and make plays all over.

Cincinnati Bengals

Another team that lost a starting safety as Jesse Bates left for Atlanta via free agency. The Bengals did draft a safety last year, but the loss of Bates will leave a big hole in the deep middle of the field. Robinson fills that void for them with his athleticism and nose for the ball.
