Wide Receivers

This unit became a strength for the Noles in 2022, behind the addition of Johnny Wilson and Mycah Pittman from the transfer portal.

They went from the worst unit in the entire conference in 2021 to one of the most explosive, with Wilson and Pittman making All-ACC. Amazingly, they had the production they had while running the ball 56 percent of the time.

FSU finally had a receiver to surpass 40 receptions and 800+ receiving yards for the first time since the 2019 season. The Noles return Wilson, but Pittman will likely miss some of the 2023 season after having surgery this spring.

Ontaria Wilson exhausted eligibility, and Malik McClain transferred to Penn State. Kentron Poitier seems to have taken the next step in his development, and Winston Wright flashed in the spring. Ja’Khi Douglas should be a factor, and Darion Williamson could remain healthy.

Deuce Spann could be a wildcard, depending on his development. There are options, but not much-proven production outside of Wilson and what Poitier contributed in the spring.

If Wright, Spann, Williamson, and Douglas become consistent options? There will be no worries.
