Darion Williamson

Darion Williamson is a player that most casual FSU football fans forget about, but he’s one of the most talented players on the team.

We saw him flash a few times last year, but he couldn’t seem to stay healthy. He checks in at 6’3″ and 200 pounds and can do it all.

The Boston College game last year was a prime example, and that was against a defense that’s solid against the pass.

However, the injury suffered in that game forced him to set out the rest of the season until he appeared in the bowl game with two receptions for 23 yards.

Williams is already turning heads at spring camp, but his health will be the main factor in determining how much impact he can make.

Mycah Pittman missing spring camp and Ontario Wilson exhausting eligibility means he should get ample opportunities to shine at practice.

If he can stay healthy, coupled with teams likely having to bring safeties down in the box against the run?

We might finally see him reach his true potential. Keep listening for his name during post-practice interviews.
