Quarterback

The most important position on the football field is quarterback, and the Noles will lose Jordan Travis after the 2023 season.

Travis has been responsible for much of the ‘Noles success over the past two years, and he’ll be difficult to replace.

However, Mike Norvell has recruited the quarterback position well, with two guys getting tons of reps at practice.

Tate Rodemaker could assume the starting quarterback role in 2024 unless AJ Duffy wins the job.

The good news is both quarterbacks will have multiple years of experience in Mike Norvell’s offense, and I expect both to get more reps in real games in 2023 as FSU rolls through 7-8 teams on the schedule.

That experience should make the transition much smoother in 2024, regardless of which QB wins the job. Not to mention, Brock Glenn will be a redshirt freshman in 2024, and blue-chip Luke Kromenhoek will be on the roster by then(if he stays committed and signs).

QB experience and depth won’t be a problem like it was in the later Jimbo Fisher, Willie Taggart, and when Mike Norvell first got hired.
