Jordan Travis Should Be in Heisman Convo Next Year
When I saw some early 2023 Heisman watch lists that included the likes of Shedeur Sanders and didn’t include Jordan Travis, I had to LAUGH OUT LOUD.
Jordan Travis did this Thursday night and made it look EASY. Those numbers could have been even better had the receivers not dropped another 2-3 passes.
Jordan Travis’s command of the offense is something nobody thought would be possible. He almost always gets FSU into the right play, and even third and long situations don’t seem impossible anymore.
Have a day, Jordan Travis👏🏹 pic.twitter.com/95a1zFo9RA

If it’s third and eight or less, and I see Jordan Travis drop back for a pass, I have great confidence they’ll convert if the receiver doesn’t drop it. He’s also capable of making 2-3 guys miss and pick up the first down with his legs.
Did I mention he can make accurate deep throws down the field?

How did he catch that 😱 pic.twitter.com/AvuTun1YpR
There is no question he is among the best quarterbacks in the nation and should be near the forefront of those with early consideration for top QB awards in 2023. FSU didn’t play a great game at all offensively, and still scored 35 points against Oklahoma.
That should put folks on notice going into 2023.
