Quindarrius Jones

Quindarrius Jones is one of the most underrated players in this recruiting class, who earned an offer after coming to compete at FSU’s summer camp.

He’ll enroll this spring just like Kenton Kirkland, which will provide him with a higher probability of getting on the field as a freshman. Jones checks in at 6’2 and 190 pounds and great length.

FSU defensive coordinator Adam Fuller said Jones can play cornerback, but I think he’s a safety. He has good speed, but isn’t a burner, with an 11.2 verified time in the 100 meters.

Jones has good instincts in the run game and seems to be a sure tackler, which bodes well at the college level.

Jones played wide receiver in high school and flashed excellent ball skills, often making contested catches, which bodes well for him in the secondary.

The fact the staff evaluated him at camp and offered him on the spot is a testament to the potential they see in him. Jones is someone that can contribute to special teams too.
