FSU football: 2023 Early Signing Period mock recruiting class

FSU football already had four players committed from the transfer portal and look to bring in a few more.

Transfer players don’t sign, so that won’t be the case during the Early Signing Period as those players simply enroll in the spring wherever they choose to play.

Here’s a list of transfer players that FSU had a good shot to land right now:

• Fentrell Cypress (UVA CB transfer)
• John Campbell (Miami OL transfer)
• Keiondre Jones (Auburn OL transfer)
• Braden Fiske (Western Michigan DT transfer)

If FSU lands Cypress, I don’t care who else they sign at DB out of the portal. Some of what the Noles do in the portal will depend on if players like Jammie Robinson return or not. FSU took a huge offensive line haul in the 2022 recruiting cycle, so I think they’ll be careful of adding transfer portal guys with multiple years of elibility remaining, unless he’s a total stud.

Of course, transfer portal recruiting will continue through the new year and new targets will emerge.
