State Championship

One of the main goals of the coaching staff is to be the best team in the state of Florida. It’s a claim the Noles haven’t had since the 2016 season.

However, FSU is the only team that can truly lay claim to the title since they are the only team that plays Miami and Florida every season.

Of course, FSU dismantled the Hurricanes a few weeks ago, and that win sent ripples through the Miami program. They lost their top QB commit to Florida, and that program has looked in disarray, with many players already declaring for the transfer portal.

Florida looks to be in a better spot than Miami, but a dominant FSU win over Florida would signal FSU has ascended back to its rightful throne as Florida state champions.

Everything goes back to recruiting and getting better players on the roster, and Florida arguably produces the most elite talent of any state. If FSU can begin to consistently get top players in-state to come to FSU and continue to get quality players from Georgia?

Go ahead and cement the Noles as one of the top programs nationally for the foreseeable future. A win over Florida Friday night can help expedite that process.
