FSU football: 5 takeaways from ‘Noles dominating win over Miami

Trey Benson is A Different Running Back Now
We saw Trey Benson running wild in the season opener against Duquesne, but that was a terrible defense that was undersized.
When we saw Benson against better defenses earlier in the year, he seemed to run timidly or tip-toe at times in traffic.
He flashed his power here and there, but not consistently, but it seems he has come into his own since a couple of runs late in the Louisville game.
Trey Benson introduced himself to the FSU/Miami rivalry in a big way Saturday night. He finished the game with 15 carries, 128 rushing yards, two touchdowns, and a reception for 25 yards.
He broke more tackles than Miami had first downs in the game. Benson repeatedly ran through arms tackles and bounced off would-be tacklers for one of the most physical performances I can remember in a rivalry game.
He easily could have run for over 200 yards, reminiscent of Dalvin Cook in 2015 if he played the entire game.
