Final Thoughts

There’s a lot of blame to go around, but this is the third consecutive game the offense has cost FSU a win.

The points Clemson scored in the second half were on short fields due to an FSU turnover on downs and a long kickoff return to start the third quarter.

Clemson also capitalized off the FSU fumble, which gave them the ball on the FSU 42-yard line.

When you’re missing some key guys, and others are playing well below 100 percent due to injuries, you’d hope the offense would pick up the slack or at least not put you in compromising positions.

FSU punched with Clemson blow for blow until the final six minutes of the second quarter, and the first five minutes of the third. However, there were a lot of positives in the game.

The Noles only had three penalties, and they ran the ball far and away better than any team Clemson has faced this year. They just have to be better at situational football.
