FSU football vs. Clemson Tigers preview and prediction

FSU football Offense
The FSU offense revolves around the offensive line and quarterback Jordan Travis. The FSU skill position players are among some of the best in the ACC. FSU will have to find success through the air against Clemson, and it’s the area that’s the weakest part of their defense. However, FSU coaches need to move Jordan Travis in the pocket like last year where they had most of their success through the air. This game will hinge on how well Jordan Travis plays, especially with Treshuan Ward getting hurt last week.
FSU Defense
Adam Fuller hasn’t gotten the credit he deserves for the improvement in the FSU defense this year, despite all the injuries they’ve been dealt. The good news is it looks like Robert Cooper will play after getting hurt in the NC State game. That should be a boost against the run, and Jared Verse should be able to play more snaps than last week. FSU has been excellent at preventing explosive plays and making teams execute, but I think they will have to take a few chances in this game to get Clemson behind the chains since they convert on third downs so well.
