FSU football: Top 5 major keys to defeating Clemson Tigers

Win Turnover Battle Or Avoid Turnovers
If you want to find a commonality between FSU wins and losses against Power 5 teams? Look no further than winning or losing the turnover battle.
FSU won the turnover battle against LSU(+1), Louisville (+1), and Boston College (+2) but lost the turnover battle against Wake Forest (-1) and NC State (-1).
The turnover against Wake Forest resulted in a short field and a touchdown for the Demon Deacons.
The first turnover against NC State resulted in poor field position, and the second one effectively ended the game for the Noles.
The Wake Forest game was a one-possession affair late in the fourth quarter, as was the NC State game.
Turnovers are not something one team like FSU can afford when the margin for error is very small against good teams.
Clemson is a team +5 in turnover margin for the season and hasn’t had one game where they lost the turnover battle.
FSU football is +1 on the season and only has one game where they haven’t turned the ball over. That is the most complete game played this season against Boston College.
