Jordan Travis will have 3,300 all-purpose yards
The health of Jordan Travis will determine if this comes to fruition. Folks will read that and research his numbers from last year, with Travis amassing just over 2,000 yards in 10 games.
However, Travis has many things favoring a major uptick in production. The combination of the coaches trusting him more, and his knowledge of the offense should give him more opportunities through the air.
The talent infusion at wide receiver should account for more explosive plays, and Travis will likely continue to get his share of yards rushing. Those factors, coupled with FSU only facing what I would call two top 20 defenses, is a recipe for success.
Not to mention, Travis faces a top 30 defense at worst each day in practice. I’ll say he averages 220 yards per game through the air and 55 yards rushing per game.
That’s 275 yards per game average, which amounts to 3,300 yards. We saw Jordan Travis attempt no fewer than 26 passing attempts in the final three games last year. I expect that trend to continue in 2022.
