FSU football released their depth charts for the season opener against Duquesne Monday morning.

The depth chart is something all fans have been clamoring to see since fall camp began a few weeks ago.

While there were several positions where we could assume who the starters would be, some question marks were heading into fall camp.

Here were my projected starters going into fall camp:

Offense

  • Jordan Travis-QB
  • Dillan Gibbons:OL
  • Robert Scott: OL
  • Maurice Smith:OL
  • Trey Benson-RB
  • Treshaun Ward-RB
  • Mycah Pittman-WR
  • Johnny Wilson-WR
  • Malik McClain-WR
  • Camren McDonald-TE

Defense

  • Fabien Lovettt-DT
  • Robert Cooper-DT
  • Dennis Briggs-DE/FOX
  • Kalen DeLoach-LB
  • Tatum Bethune-LB
  • Jammie Robinson-S
  • Akeem Dent-S
  • Omarion Cooper-CB
  • Kevin Knowles-Nickel CB

Here is the official depth chart:

Maurice Smith will be out, but Mike Norvell expects him back as some point relatively soon. That news along with Darius Washington returning from injuries allows Washington to move to the center position.

It’s not a surprise Bless Harris is the starting right tackle or for D’Mitri Emmanuel to start at right guard. The push freshman Julian Armella made in fall camp to make the depth chart after not early enrolling is impressive.

Bryson Estes and Thomas Schrader on the two-deep makes sense with what we heard as fall camp progressed week-to-week.
