QB Depth

I think this one goes without saying because FSU football needs Jordan Travis to play QB to give them their best shot of winning games.

I’ve said it many times, if he plays in every game last year, FSU likely wins seven or eight games LAST year.

The same should hold in 2022, but his propensity to get hurt is something we can’t ignore. That’s why Tate Rodemaker and/or AJ Duffy must develop enough to go in the game without the offense falling off of a cliff.

Have they made enough progress to do that? It seems as though both have made significant progress, but the truth is I can’t trust it until I see Rodemaker in an actual game.

I know that sounds bad, but we’ve yet to see him do anything productive. Now, he hasn’t exactly had the best offensive line or wide receivers to work with either, so we have to consider that.

However, both should be better than in past years. Truthfully, I hope the only time we see either Rodemaker or Duffy in the game is if FSU is winning by multiple touchdowns. If that isn’t the case and they are in the game, let’s hope the offense is at least competent.
