Mycah Pittman-WR

Mycah Pittman was the first wide receiver target the FSU coaching staff went after in the portal. The former top 100 recruit will provide immediate help at wide receiver and in the punt return game.

The latter was an abomination the past few years, and the wide receiver group lacked someone that could be counted on in crucial situations. Pittman has proven to be sure-handed, with the ability to create separation at the line of scrimmage.

He isn’t afraid of contact and can make contested catches. He could lead the FSU wide receivers in receptions and yards in 2022.

He wants the opportunity to produce, citing the lack of use at Oregon as a driving force behind his decision to enter the transfer portal.

Oregon had poor QB play the last two years, as Pittman’s freshman season was his most productive playing alongside former NFL First-Round QB Justin Herbert.

Pittman averaged 10 yards per punt return last season, which would be the highest average at FSU since DJ Matthews in 2018. Pittman will be a big key to FSU’s success in 2022.
