Chop Chat: How did the FSU coaches respond to your performance and what did you think of your performance overall at camp?

Ryan Browne: They really liked me I had a great conversation with Coach Tokarz and Coach Norvell after camp. They said they were impressed and excited to re-evaluate me with the film they took of me. They said they are for sure going to continue this process with me. I felt pretty good but could’ve had a better day. I have no doubt I can come in their and make a huge impact on the program. I’m definitely hopeful for an offer and I think if people can look past my rating and look at the way I play the game and look at my skill set it’s a no-brainer. I don’t think my rating will stay the same for much longer either.

Chop Chat Thoughts

I wrote about potential options at quarterback for the Noles on Monday. Ryan Browne was a guy that caught my eye that I didn’t hear much follow-up afterward, so I wanted to reach out and learn more about him for myself and all FSU football fans that follow recruiting. Browne has the potential to be one of those under-the-radar guys who blossom late. He has great size, a strong arm, and the ability to run. He admits to being a big-time student of the game, who loves to study coverages and concepts. It’s all about finding the right opportunity, and it looks as though some Power 5 colleges could create it sooner than later. Good luck to Ryan and thanks for taking the time to speak with Chop Chat!
