Offensive Line

One of the first things to notice is the offensive line and what a metamorphosis has taken place.

The offensive linemen look like offensive linemen, and the coaching staff feels good about sending 10+ guys into action this year.

FSU hasn’t had this much depth in nearly a decade, and the days of opposing average teams rag-dolling this unit appears to be over. The starters on this unit are not solidified yet, but the good news is they have multiple guys that can play multiple spots.

This depth not only helps in the games, but it’s incredibly important at practice because it allows the freshmen to get valuable reps and develop at a quicker pace instead of playing too early and suffering injuries.

This unit looks like they will be able to line up and establish the run without having smoke and mirrors. The pass protection should be better, but I need to see that in an actual game before I can fully believe it.

They have the depth to account for injuries, but if they can stay relatively healthy overall? This unit may surprise some folks.
