Final Thoughts

Just relax in the famous words of Green Bay Packer QB Aaron Rogers. It’s a long way until National Signing Day, and we’ve seen how quickly things can change in recruiting.

Remember, Willie Taggart had the Noles with one of the top recruiting classes in 2018, and things fell off like Big Mac toppings once the product got on the field against Virginia Tech.

FSU went into last season with a lot of momentum, and we saw what and 0-4 record did to that.

Also, let’s not forget all of those highly ranked recruiting classes from 2015-17 didn’t result in a ton of wins either.

Stars do matter, but there has to be organization and player development too. This coaching staff seems to have a solid mixture of both, but I’m curious to see how FSU recruits if they can finally show some success on the field in 2022.

I expect the Noles to add a couple of commitments in August, which would leave about six realistic blue-chip targets, along with some long-shots in the Early Signing Period if the season goes great(8+ wins).

Until then, let’s countdown to the first game on August 27th!
